Located in the Mamoli Hall of the Sinar Tambolaka Hotel, Southwest Sumba on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.

This activity is a follow-up to the Workshop held on March 23, 2022. This follow-up workshop is expected to help teachers prepare vocational high school graduates to take part in the Job Fair which will be held by DESMA Center in June 2022 in the context of the Tourism TVET Ecosystem Strengthening project in Southwest Sumba.

The trainer in this activity was Ms. Redempta T. Bato, Secretary of the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) Southwest Sumba, and the co-trainer Mrs. Anggy. The workshop participants are teachers of assisted vocational schools (Pancasila Vocational School Tambolaka and SMKN 2 Tambolaka City) and 3 non-assisted vocational schools (SMKN 1 Waikabubak, SMK Kasimo Tambolaka and SMK Bakti Luhur Tambolaka).

The method used during the workshop was the presentation of material (presentation) by knowledgeable persons, combined with interactive discussions, sharing of experiences of trainers and workshop participants, and direct practice in preparing applications using the Canva application.

Teachers are expected to set up programmes to help with CV making in their respective schools, job search and coordination with PHRI or their respective districts to help graduates of vocational high schools, especially the tourism department, to get information on job opportunities from industry both in Sumba and outside Sumba.
